Recruiting Events
Our recruiting events offer employers the opportunity to meet with prospective employees. Participation in an event assures your organization targeted publicity, visibility, and the opportunity to connect with students and alumni.
Join us at one or more of our events:
- Part-time Job Fairs, held at our Oshawa and Whitby campuses in September, promote local employers to new and returning students seeking part-time employment while attending college
- Winter Job Fairs, held at our Oshawa and Whitby campuses in February, is an ideal opportunity for employers actively recruiting to fill full- time, part-time, co-op, internship, contract, and summer vacancies
"I had an excellent experience with the students that attended our virtual information session. This group of students was by far the most engaged and responsive of all the schools I have spoken to virtually or in person. Many of them reached out within the hour that we finished to continue the conversation. It really made me excited to continue working with Durham College and their students in the future."

Additional Recruiting Opportunities
In addition to participating in our events, employers can participate in other recruiting efforts.
Targeted information sessions provide a fantastic opportunity to introduce students to your company's vision and for you to network with a target audience of students in an intimate atmosphere. In this setting, you can provide students with essential information about your organization, selection criteria, career paths, and specific job opportunities. We will promote your session and register students through our online registration system.
Other opportunities may include career workshops or presentations to students, participation in career panels, speed mentoring sessions or mock interviews. Career Development will arrange for publicity in advance of your organization's presence on campus.
